Once loose they umbrella popped open pretty quickly and auto locked

The umbrella will collapse but for it to retract you have to push it together

You can toss the cover away once opened because this is not going back in it once opened

However it covers good because its so big but its also very big when folded up so not ideal for traveling or carrying around town

This umbrella solves my problem i can throw it in my bag take it with me pop it out when the i have to walk somewhere in bright sun
