My 17 year old son loves working on engines, originally starting with small engines and now rebuilding an 86’ ram w100 pickup.
This proved to be a painful process and one not likely to be repeated.
The tools are well cast, and with a couple exceptions there are no issues with the thread surfaces that cause binding, and no chips.

Ill start by saying that this is a budget set its not a professional grade shop set by any means and if youre someone needing to frequently use it youll probably want to aim for a higher one to begin with

Where exceptions exist they are more of a finish issue than a functional problem and i havent encountered one that didnt complete the job

The handcranks are similarly well built however i dislike the handle system on these as they are small in my hand compared to my gearwrench set which has a wider paddle handle

This one requires a little more muscle to work and struggles a bit more on harder metals and i wouldnt attempt cutting new threads on anything in the grade 8 range though i think it would perform to clean up threads at that level
