They would not lock on the springs as the spring diameter was too big

While it was somewhat of a chore to use on my specific vehicle in my specific instance that shouldnt reflect on this product as anyone other spring compressor would have had the same issue

Everywhere i could get would then put the bolt head against the shock hat making it hardimpossible to turn the screw to compress the spring more in order to remove the shock hat

Like others i ground the pins down to get the clearance to get over the spring
