The clip itself is made of plastic with a steel roller ball to hold the socket in place

If a clip should get to where it doesnt hold a socket anymore there are replacement clips available

These abn rails are quality machined of aluminum and are sturdy they do not bend even when holding 30 40 mm six point sockets and the sockets do not fall off
