Thermal Management
Customers have generally positive feedback regarding the thermal management of the ACASIS 40Gbps M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure TBU 405AIR, with some mentioning that it runs warm but effectively manages heat through the use of thermal pads and a manual fan for cooling. The enclosure maintains high data transfer speeds while keeping the drive cool to the touch during long editing sessions or large file transfers.

Highlights
Quality
Solid metal build, tool less case, very quiet fan.
The tbu 405 pro with the fan maintains speed over long transfers or editing sessions and remains very cool to the touch.
Really this should have no bearing as all the drives are made to a compatibility standard.
Recognized the devices, but said unreadable (normal beacuse they need formatting).

3 4tb 3500 mb/s, $199 at time of posting.
Didn't have the money for a 4tb mac mini m2 so i went cheap and figured i'd use external storage for libraries or large files.
Competitiveness
Don't try and save $10-$20 by getting some other brand.
There were two points that i found puzzling, on the brand of the drive was limiting the transfer rates.
I compared several tb4 nvme ssd enclosures and the tbu 405 pro was the one i thought was best.
