One warning to samsung note users it does not open up wide enough to put the note in with any type of case on it

You have to take the phone completely out of its case in order to get it to fit in the clamp thing

Doesnt like to be paired with multiple phones in the same room though and the tripod legs are a little flimsy you need to make sure your phone is not tilted forward or back or it wont be able to hold the weight and fall over

As a tripod my first impression is that this is fine for lightduty recording of subjects which are 1 not far from the camera and 2 not moving

The mountinghead is adequate but dont expect any fine degree of control this is a setitupandforgetit type of device

I ended up buying a second one for someone else and it was missing the piece at the top to attach the phone
