Pros

Put it in and drove on a 350 mile trip. Completely ended the problem with my sonic. I plan to rebuild it next summer so just needed to make it last.

There were no globs in the mixture when added back into the radiator. Simply crush tablets into powder form and pour into pressurized coolant surge tank or radiator. Add directly to radiator to stop leaks.

Ac delco tabs are the best. Preliminary results are very encouraging.

Cons

Not off to a great start. Didn't work for a head gasket leak in my trailblazer straight six. The leak is between cylinders so there was no visible evidence of a leak because it was being burned.

Amazing and works exceedingly well won t hurt your systems 171000 miles and running strong.

Great product for aluminum block to aluminum head.

Heater core was leakingand i crunched all 5 of them up put into the radiator let it circulate for 30 minutes .

Within 3 minutes the persistent radiator leak from around the bottom seam of the radiator had completely stopped!

Price

This patch has bought me valuable time while i manage for the $1,200 for the permanent repair.

To have all these leaks fixed would have been extremely expensive, especially the head gasket replacement.

For $5 you often get lucky and never see the leak again.

Packaging/appearance

They don't seem like much, n fancy package, no bright entertaining colors.

Highly suggest i keep an extra package in the glove box inside a sealed bag.

Competitiveness

Better than other products out on the market.

All the online forums suggest the lim gasket needs to be replaced, which is a very expensive job.
