Following the manual you had to open the hatchback with the actual key then you turn the key five time within five seconds to initiate the driver information center on the instrument panel

So it took a few times to get it but i eventually tried it by turning the key harder and finally the dic did indicate it was ready to program fob 4

I put the new fob in the glove compartment program slot and after about 5 seconds the dic stated that maximum number of fobs programed
