Pros & Cons
Pros
Inconvenient location centerline between engine and firewall. Need 1 1/16 inch or 27 mm deep socket. Plug the plug back and you're done.
Works in my 2006 sierra denali 6. Then got ac delco replacement off amazon. Genuine acdelco part. Used on gmc sierra 1500. Fast delivery. Even was packaged in oem sealed bag.
Direct fit for my 2006 grand prix gxp. Installation isn't as bad as some say. Works great, but the install was a pain in the *.
Cons
Was not the right one for my 2011 gmc sierra. Pulled out the switch from my gm 5. Started fluctuating pressure then leaking. Months in the pressure sensor is pegged at 80psi.
Highlights
Quality
Quality product to put in my c5 corvette
I am very happy oil pressure finally stable and normal pressure.
I have to add the installation had nothing to do with the product.
No fault of the product, just the location.
Packaging/appearance
I removed the engine cover, and moved a couple of easy disconnects out of the way.
Competitiveness
Same part as the local chevy dealership at a fraction of the cost.
Fit my 2007 chevrolet silverado 2500hd classic works great so far.
