I already replaced the evaporator and heater core because the evaporator core was leaking

The recirculation would shut off by itself

Some of the lower buttons did not illuminate anymore

All you need is to pull the cluster bezel off remove 2 7mm bolts depress 4 tabs to remove the old controller disconnect 2 plugs replace the controller and then reinstall all the trim pieces
