Pros

The product works. It's done and cured the flapping doornoise. The price is good.

This ac delco unit lasts much longer than the off-brand versions. Since my vehicle is a single zone ac. You have to be sure it lines up with the vent door shaft.

All markings and molding of the body of the actuator are an exact match of the parts they replaced. That means the part wouldn't break for a very long time.

Cons

Very poor quality. Worked for 4 months.

Went though 3 cheap 13$ ones that didn’t work.

00 dollar one that only last a few months.

The packaging looks like a dog chewed on it but the part itself appeared fine.

Packaging looks correct and the markings on the part are exactly the same (the one with the sticker is the new one.

Competitiveness

I highly recommend the oem part(s) like the acdelco part versus what the auto parts stores sell.

I really can't tell if this is any better than the other makers.

On the contrary, the other aftermarket one (much cheaper) kept giving the clicking sounds even after a "learning"process.

I’ve changed these a few times on the same car however i think this is the first ac delco one i’ve tried so maybe i’ll have better luck.
