Unlike most of the aftermarket models this one actually came with 6 screws to reinstall the hacked off lower half of the blower case

With luck this south korean made replacement blower will give me another 50k miles of trouble free service just kidding it a cobalt this thing at best has maybe another year before something not worth replacing blows up

Unfortunately you have to cut out the old motor shame on gmdelco

The part that you cut out has to be fastened to the new motor with included screws

You literally have to cut the old motor out so if youre not willing to take that risk yourself be prepared to pay someone to do this
