Pros & Cons
Pros
Installation is a piece of cake, two screws and a connector, no programming needed. Got several warning lights on my truck along with getting stuck in limp mode.
Cons
The contacts inside are too delicate (by design, not necessarily by manufacturer) and separate too easily. This causes irregular voltage along with forcing the vehicle into limp mode.
Highlights
Quality
I am very pleased with the results!
Still a high quality, great part, and direct replacement.
It was the wiring harness that had separated and i left me wondering why my old one tested good but still had issues with the truck!
The product arrived with no paperwork or instructions, but it's nothing that you can't look up on youtube.
Price
Great to know that it only cost $80 and 20 minutes to fix my truck now.
Received the part promptly and it was at a very competitive price.
Cost was not overly exorbitant, especially since i did the replacement myself.
Shipping
Install was fast and easy after watching an online how-to video.
Competitiveness
Way better than the $400 at the dealer!
After googling the issue and then buying an obd2 scanner, it pinpointed it to the position sensor.
