Replacement to the factory coil that woulf fail when it rained out. Works as expected. Was an exact fit for a 1997 gmc sierra k1500 5.

Works good do it one time use original equipment.
Replace ignition coil gmc, have to use origanal equipement on gm,gmc or computer will not read it.
Price
While this item was priced fair and performed as manufacture stated, it looked like a re-conditioned unit with paint on it.

Thought i had a bad coil turned out i had a stuck open fuel injector that got replaced after this was installed

Wasnt worth it to remove to put back the old one and besides the one one being the original or at least that how it seemed it made sense to have a fresh coil to go with my new mfi spider injector along with the new plugs plug wires new cap and rotor and a fuel filter

The rivets mounting the old one had to be drilled out but nuts and bolts were provided to mount the new one

You can always get the correct part number from the gm part website if you are unsure of what you need for your specific engine

Didnt need this but it is an actual ac delco it is not easy to install as it is at the back of my 454 and the intake on it shrouds the back of the motor
