Pros

Cadillac escalade esv w vortec 6. Water pump. Comes in ac delco box with all the correct labeling and name on the part. Love ac delco.

Replacement is identical to the original. Half the price of dealer for the identical part. Other than that well pleased. There is a saying, and it goes oem is best.

Cons

Ac delco - never again. Amazon is down hill. No good duality parts. Waste of new coolant.

I’m thinking of buying this water pump i see and read reviews that it has china stamped on it.

7 it was a perfect fit replacement, and a lot cheaper than from the local parts houses by me.

I liked the price and quality of the water pump.

I purchased them locally for an additional 10$ but that beat returning the part and finding another.

Whenever you can find an oem replacement at a discount what’s not to like.

Shipping

The pump had punched through the box by the time i received it.

The pump fived my overheating problem with my 2010 tahoe .

Packaging/appearance

No issues with amazon as their packaging was excellent.

Came in a plain white box and the only indication it was ac delco was a sticker on the pump itself.

Not sure of the circumstances on this particular part but the box and packaging was not great.

Past experience with parts from ac delco is that their packing of parts lacks packaging protection of their parts.

I also changed the thermostat at the same time using the acdelco brand.

I have tried other aftermarket names and finally had to buy oem part is probably the best answer anyways
