Most of the negative reviews seem to be a product of shipping, not quality. Very pleased with my purchase. Love this item.

The weapon itself is aesthetically pleasing and its guard is not cumbersome. Secondly, the cost is good for the quality and design.
It's elegant, polished and well made. The dimensions are as stated. It looks authentic, and was as advertised on amazon.
The weight is perfect - great heft but easy to wield. Solid build, feels good in hand. Flimsy, but still metal.
Cons
Two spots of rust on the blade, gnarly welding, plastic scabbard. Welds are unfinished and the plating is ghastly. A toy for the wall, no more.

The scabbard is equally as incredible when it comes to quality.

Was not difficult to in sheath, goes in and comes out fine.
I don’t know how many times i will have to sheath, draw, and wash to remove the resin.
Packaging was suffice to survive the usps.
