Pros & Cons
Pros
We have the emerald ash borer bug that has wiped out the ash trees in my area. Easy to install with a cordless drill and hammer. Saving my oak trees from gypsy moth caterpillars.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to install with a cordless drill and hammer.
These were easy to insert into the tree and the infestation of leaf worms was gone in less than a week.
If your ash tree branch barks appear to be "peeling" do not consider the tree to be removed.
We planted this tree about three years before the news of the emerald ash borer came out.
Price
Total cost between the 2 treatments has been about $60 for each of our 2 trees.
15 minutes and i'm done for the year for only the price of a lunch.
Competitiveness
We won't know for awhile if it works, but acecap is a good brand.
