Pros

The acer laptop has a built-in dvd drive. Peppermint, mint, pop os and puppy linux fly on this machine.

What amazes me is that it continues to work. Perfect for researching and watching videos. Casual use like online shopping and web browsing is fine.

Cons

My 7 year old computer runs circles around this worthless brick. I have to start this computer every single time it shuts off with a pin in the back of the computer -- that's many times per day.

Still has the win10 bug where the screen turns off and won't turn on again without restarting. Blue screen and unable even try to restore. Lilith gives up the ghost.

Warranty expires in july. Still has same old plethora of issues. No warranty. Limited warranty starts time computer was made not when purchased.

The disk is constantly showing 100% usage when doing nothing at all. Windows 10 updates have caused it to freeze up a lot more frequently so i’m only able to use it half the time at best. This is all horribly painful requiring many many 15 minute rebo... Read More
