Pros

The screen is crisp and clear and the colors are bold and bright. Full hd ips display provides crisp visuals and vibrant colors. A good gaming laptop starts around $1000 or more. Not anything negaive towards seller.

Good enough for the price. Same amt of memory/storage as surface pro.

The keyboard and trackpad are easy to use. The touchpad and keyboard feel good, average, not cheap. I love the quality of they keyboard too, it's a good clicky keyboard.

The ac adapter is lightweight and not cumbersome. The battery is very usable. Perfect size for me, lightweight and easy to travel.

Cons

After disabling secure boot and enabling the f12 boot menu, it only brings up windows boot manager and not my known good boot usb drive. When opening it up, it frequently takes a long time to wake up (sometimes rebooting, no rhyme or reason) but today... Read More

It has a very cheap and tinny sounding speaker. Approx 12 hours usage time in 5 months. The speakers are hardly audible.

After owning for 1 day, 3 days and now 8 days, their customer service is non existent to useless. It says made in taiwaan so maybe no one speaks english when you send a message. No help from manufacturer or amazon.

Upgrading the ram would have been a welcome option, but unfortunately, it's not possible.

For the price you really can't beat it .

This was a solid laptop for the price.

I bought two of these laptops in the summer of 2020 for $299 and $310.

The price was the deciding factor here.

Packaging/appearance

There was a sticker on the box that said that the laptop had been inspected by amazon and was "certified".

Competitiveness

In conclusion, the acer aspire 5 slim offers excellent value for its price.

This is a large laptop in comparison to my current surface laptop and previous surface pro.

Given the price point probably shouldn't complaint too much, though there are competition in this price range.
