Pros

Apps are from the android play store. Internet is available via typical network, wifi or mobile phone hotspot. I have netflix & amazon video installed and can download several movies for viewing later.

There is an alternate way to factory reset the computer when you're signed press ctrl-alt-shift+r and then select powerwash. The factory reset process is impressively fast. It's very fast and i attribute that to no windows bogging it all down.

The 128gb emmc storage is sufficient for storing documents, photos, and essential files, though users with larger storage needs may need to rely on external storage solutions or cloud services. I prefer to have all my stuff ram from the cloud and goog... Read More

This really is a great chromebook for anyone in the market for a fairly cheap, but decently powerful laptop. I'm very satisfied with the acer. This is worth every penny.

Cons

It’s a sad shame you spent over $300. What a waste of money and a disappointed grandchild. It's more like a glorified phone than a computer i can effectively work with. It turns out that this model of chrome book does not work with any stylus.

Lightweight, great graphics, speed and ease of use!

Hardware-wise, i really quite like this for basic day-to-day use.

The keyboard feels too soft and the screen is still washed out.

I dont like how they advertise this folded as if you would just reverse fold to use with touch screen, it does not work that way.

Price

The price is pretty perfect as well.

Great value for my first chrome book.

At $400+, you are into cheap laptop territory, so i'm not sure what market segment this is really aimed at.

I like to satisfy my wife on birthdays and holidays with gifts from apple, but my value was to spend less than $500.

Shipping

Arrived 2 days before scheduled and in amazing condition.

It charged very quickly and i have used it now daily.

All my google accounts were uploaded and saved as soon as i logged in.

They repaired it as a warranty claim for free and sent it right back.

Packaging/appearance

The asus comes nicely packaged, as i've come to expect.

Competitiveness

After seeing the performance and specs of a few different brands, i prefer acer because their computers are inexpensive and easy to repair.

This is better than other chromebooks i have used so 5 stars!

It's bulkier, heavier, and the screen is more washed out than a samsung tablet that costs less.

I hope the hinge design and keyboard is more durable than acer's other 2-in-1 models.
