I do not know the reason why but basically it is crap do not buy!

Came in super fast and the screen is very nice and big.

She likes it much better than the 15" lenovo chromebook it replaces.

I started with an 11" sony, then went to a 15" acer and now the 17"acer i'm very satisfied.

Never bought anything from acer before, usually hp or dell, so far so good, only time will tell.
