The factory reset process is impressively fast. It's very fast and i attribute that to no windows bogging it all down.

Cons

It’s a sad shame you spent over $300. What a waste of money and a disappointed grandchild. It's more like a glorified phone than a computer i can effectively work with. It turns out that this model of chrome book does not work with any stylus.

Quality

Hardware-wise, i really quite like this for basic day-to-day use.

Flipping it back into laptop mode is a breeze, and the overall quality of the laptop is noticeable.

I dont like how they advertise this folded as if you would just reverse fold to use with touch screen, it does not work that way.

Popping off the bottom cover revealed most components are integrated to the circuit boards and are not replaceable.

Price

The price is pretty perfect as well.

Great value for my first chrome book.

I like to satisfy my wife on birthdays and holidays with gifts from apple, but my value was to spend less than $500.

Again, for a $400 device, it's good for what you're paying.

Arrived 2 days before scheduled and in amazing condition.

It charged very quickly and i have used it now daily.

All my google accounts were uploaded and saved as soon as i logged in.

Packaging/appearance

The asus comes nicely packaged, as i've come to expect.

Competitiveness

After seeing the performance and specs of a few different brands, i prefer acer because their computers are inexpensive and easy to repair.
