If you watch low quality stuff since the screen is soooo big you will see defects and pixelation.
Was shocked how good the picture looked until it stopped working after 10 hours.

Amazon had this projector as a black friday week deal for $299.

Wasted tons of my time in order to get the order in place and finally delivered to the place where i was staying.
***update****it took exactly one day and i was so sick of the spots i sent it back.
Amazon accepted the return no problem and will ship me a replacement.
We contacted acer, and by the time they responded it magically fixed itself.
Packaging/appearance
Picture looks great even on a matte white wall.
Con: (1) did not come in original packaging.
Not sure if this was a previously returned item or if the retail box was damaged or something.

Competitiveness
The 2d quality is very good (for a 720p unit) and the 3d is better then on tv's that cost thousands more.
I would rate this projector as comparable to a friend's projector that cost almost 10-times the amount.
This is sadly, different from what the manual says and i have yet to get a satisfactory response from acer on this.
That said, i don't think it is head and shoulders above the competition.

I was going to buy the 1080 view sonic one but since it was a real pain to buy this from amazon while on the states i went for this totally complete projector brand resolution etc and i couldnt be soooo lucky with this purchase

Im not sure what kind of use are you going to give to it but from my experience i will use it to see movies 3d movies tv shows some games from time to time

I put the projector about 2 meters away from the wall and since its short throw the image was so big that i wanted to kick my samsung lcd tv and throw it to the garbage
