Pros

Only problem is that only has 8gb ram. It has a concurrent fps of 65 and it has 3-4 hours of gaming life.

It's cheaper to get this laptop than it would be to build a machine to a similar spec from scratch. Also my wives cricket machine. This thing has lots of connections for more ssd storage if you need it.

Cons

Buyer beware. It's been nearly a month. Honestly it's very disappointing.

Tried all the reset tricks but nope. Had to configure 200 settings just to dual boot ubuntu. Opened the program that manages this laptop's fans is apparently very taxing for the laptop. Also, the keyboard goes black every 30 sec.

Acer had to dedicate a page of their website to turning off their terrible nitro key. It's like when you press that little button to make it switch to pedestrian crossing faster but it doesn't really do anything except pacify you.

Screen quality is good, not really much to say about it.

It has a good build quality and all parts work well (the reviewers who wrote about bad charging ports didn’t read the instructions).

The sound quality on this machine isn't superb, but for me that's fine.

If i need good sound quality, i'll put on a headset.

Competitiveness

It has good brightness and a good 165hz refresh rate.

You're gonna have to pop it open and add a larger ssd but otherwise it's a solid laptop for the price.

Just have to remove several screws and carefully use a spudger to remove the back plate.

Tldr: buy this and buy 32gb of ddr4 ram.
