I knocked off a star because it is almost impossible to know what you are getting with this product.
I bought this laptop about 3 years ago, and have been overall pretty happy with the product since then.

Great product, timely delivery and good value $ price
Shipping
Received my predator 15 today, shipping was fast.
However, this model, and maybe some other predator models, have a faulty motherboard problem at shipping.
Packaging/appearance
Colors are very accurate and the image is sharp, crisp and bright right out of the box.
Competitiveness
I wiped the drive and put a fresh copy of win10 grabbed the predator software off the site.
5/5 simply because it's 60hz rather than 120hz, but at the current price point it truly impresses.
Did a lot of research between comparable models, and i have no regrets with choosing the predator.

Had small problems with the sleep mode as it would just shut the computer off instead but i believe that was a windows thing and an update fixed that problem for now

Even when the program is shut down the buzzing sound persists for a while

However make no mistake this is not a sound problem but a motherboard problem which can only be fixed by replacing the faulty mb

Acer repair facility will be able to do this but you might have to do some back and forth since depending on the technician they will investigate the sound first
