Pros & Cons
Pros
This 301 gaming keyboard is backlit and the individual keys have backlit letters, numbers and symbols. One of the standout features of this keyboard is its rgb backlighting, which although is not customizable but still looks good. The instruction book... Read More
Although the same size as my filco, the acer is comparably lightweight. This keyboard seems to be a very durable and responsive. It is heavier than average and won't slide around.
Clicky/linear switch is awesome. Red switch feels identical to a cherry mx red. You can switch the type of switch from tactile to less tactile.
When you press a key it also has an audible click. They are extremely clicky, but that's to be expected with blues. This baby clicks…loud…which it’s supposed to and does it well.
Flip out feet are built in to adjust the angle of the keyboard. There are also dual tilt adjustments that add two more pads. It comes with wasd keys in blue out of the box along with a key remover to swap out the blue for the regular black color with ... Read More
Cons
There's nothing on here a gamer can program. The switches are most certainly generic. It is quite weird that acer would release a gaming keyboard using what is arguably the least gamery switch.
After trying different ports, reinstalling the software and a different the issue remains. Can't change the colors, pretty much stuck with the rainbow colors.

The quality of this keyboard is outstanding which is unexpected for the price, making it a great value.
Not much use for the wasd switching unless you're just taking the keyboard around to machines you don't have controls setup.
It also doesn't appear to work with the predator system like the other keyboards, which is a disappointment.
Price
The palm rest and the price are the only gripes i have otherwise.
This keyboard is about the price i would expect to pay for a gaming keyboard.
Maybe its a cost cutting measure since it required less lights, but leds are super inexpensive so bad call acer.
Packaging/appearance
This product arrived quickly and in minimal packaging.

Competitiveness
A keycap puller is included for switching them out.

I was originally going to give it a 3-star, but that's not really fair to the manufacturer.
