Pros

I have no qualms about the price, and believe it was more than fair for what's available on the market today. The arctic mx4 is the best paste. Crisp and snappy.

The processor runs everything unbelievably smoothly. Can run almost anything with high fps on high to ultra settings. Her games run much smoother on this laptop.

Cons

After a few seconds of wait, the laptop tries to restart and said windows updates are running. Then the nightmare loop happens again and again. It randomly freezes also, requiring force shutdown.

At idle my temps are consistently 50 celsius. Under small load the temps are 90 celsius. The predator button is the stupidest design choice i've ever seen. The program itself manages to take 20% of cpu load and make the laptop hotter by having the pro... Read More

It has weird design in the bottom case with very sticky parts on the hinge and side. Tried to contact the company to throw a fit but of course can't seem to do that. Sending the laptop back for a refund because i'm done dealing with acer.

I wanted something that i could use for business but if u felt like playing a game i could keep up with the latest games out there.

Anyway, i used the laptops hot spot and still could play vr, maybe like a 4/10 but now, with the dedicated old router, easily a 8.

Packaging/appearance

Other than thar, great pc, great packaging, arrived in great conditions.

The laptop did not come in the original packaging and was missing some attachments as i have seen in product reviews, but that is fine.

Competitiveness

Let’s start: it came with a 1tb & i added a 2tb nve.

But if i'm just using it day-to-day with my settings (60hz refresh rate, 20% brightness), i can get 3-4 hours of solid use.
