If you can get this sub-$1000, it's an absolute steal. The only downside is, the laptop is for my son, however since it’s used i was not able to add insurance. It offers something amazing while not being outrageously expensive.

The trackpad is really sensitive to touch. It’s not a ‘glass’ trackpad, but my fingers glide smoothly over it. Touch pad is very responsive, but has loud tap in the center.

I always have to keep the laptop plugged in so that playback is smooth. Frame rates at higher settings are absolutely respectable, as are the benchmarks.

Cons

Predator button is the stupidest design choice i've ever seen. The program itself manages to take 20% of cpu load and make the laptop hotter by having the program running by itself. The gpu fan randomly freezes also, requiring force shutdown.

Laptop scratches very easily and is falling apart already! Husband's is a generic pos that costs $35 to buy separately. Sending the laptop back for a refund because i'm done dealing with acer. But for those looking to either buy from this specific sel... Read More

Me and my husband game a lot so this worked perfect for us and we can take it anywhere, price was definitely worth it.

This laptop gives you a lot of computing power for the money, and has the cooling capabilities to back it up!

If you can get this sub-$1000, it's an absolute steal.
