Pros
Fans are loud, but that is to be expected with any gaming laptop, especially when under stress. Cooling is the hardest thing to achieve with high-speed processors and gaming laptops.
The battery life is as i would expect, not awesome for the long term, but great for a gaming rig. This in theory saves power and improves battery life. If heavy using, 1-2 years. Coming from a 6 yr old unit.
Cons
This computer freezes a lot during bootup. The predator button is the stupidest design choice i've ever seen. The program itself manages to take 20% of cpu load and make the laptop hotter by having the program running by itself.
Spent alot of money for a refurbished acer. Not more than 6 hours after the first use. The wifi card is terrible and wifi doesn't work on the thing half the time i use it4.
Husband's is a generic pos that costs $35 to buy separately. That is egregious in my opinion and shoots out red flags everywhere. In my experience, they're a predatory company.

A very great laptop for the price!
Me and my husband game a lot so this worked perfect for us and we can take it anywhere, price was definitely worth it.
If you can get this sub-$1000, it's an absolute steal.
Spend nearly double or more and sure- it’s not a slim or premium, but it’s not priced that way either.
Shipping
Just as fast as the day i got it!
Only problem was the courier, canada post doesn’t deliver as describe on the order, heads up.
Packaging/appearance
Other than thar, great pc, great packaging, arrived in great conditions.
The laptop did not come in the original packaging and was missing some attachments as i have seen in product reviews, but that is fine.

The important thing to note is that this is the mobile 3060 which is slightly less powerful than the desktop 3060

I have been playing some pretty intensive games on it over the last year including most recently baldurs gate 3 on max graphics

I keep the screen refresh rate at 60hz instead of the 144hz that you can use because it saves battery while also allowing your gpu to rest a bit while gaming
