Pros

Brightness is iffy, but i also use this in an obnoxiously brightly lit room so in reasonable lighting it's probably more than adequate. Colors and brightness are good. Under monitor lighting can be programmed to do a couple things.

The slight curve of the screen fills some of your peripheral vision. The stand is very adjustable.

The only con is a bit of ghosting. This is not a negative against acer or this monitor, just part of switching to ultrawide.

If its your first time getting ultra wide like me you'll be blown away. Far exceeded any of my expectations. And its massive.

Cons

Corners have some backlight bleed, not much ips glow, even and rich colors. Dead pixel and subpixel issues are distracting.

These monitors are all defective. Return shipping might be reasonable when the item in question is a laptop, but not when it is a 34" curved monitor.

Buyer beware. Thos review is not from amazon purchase (based on purchase from two other reputable stores). Buy a reputable company.

I added this to my existing acer moniter as a gaming upgrade, and could not be happier, the price is steep, but worth every penny.

Price was good and everything on this transaction was perfect.

Only reason why i didn’t give it a five star is due to the price!

The only problem i had was the usps shipping, which was lost in okc.

Competitiveness

This monitor rocks, it replaced a 60hz 29 in 4k and it's so much better.

I need color accuracy over refresh rate so i am running at 100hz rather than 120hz and it still feels great.

I had it paired with a evga gtx 1080ti and almost all games were ran on ultra or high settings.
