Pros

The picture quality is top-notch, and setup is very easy. The 100hz refresh rate feels like a nice middle ground between 75 and 144 hz.

Brightness is good, i have them at 85% with a large window directly behind me. The colors are much more vibrant and very closely match my macbook air. I use it for digital artwork so it's nice to get clear vivid colors.

This is a tough monitor to beat in terms of all of its capabilities. For the price, it is an unbeatable value.

Cons

Jagged fonts and horizontal lines on images. Extreme' overdrive setting is completely unusable as the artifacts are headache inducing. Acer advertised 1ms response time, which is nowhere near true.

The base is not height adjustable or tilt-able. The ac adapter is not a standard monitor power adapter.

I got this for only 89 dollars and its the best monitor ive had for the price

A great low cost 27" monitor, i bought 1 for my gaming desktop and two for work.

I mean for $129 you can't get a better value for 2560x1440 resolution.

But it works great for a monitor under $200.

Shipping

So now amazon is bossing customers around when the product they ship arrive broken.

Amazon was great with replacing the monitors in a timely manner.

With the fast delivery, you won't be off line long.

Competitiveness

The colors are beautiful beyond compare to oled displays.

Finally added bonus to acer's customer care.

It was this experience that, when i wanted better monitors at work, caused me to go back to acer and back to this monitor for 2 more.

The drivers for the acer sb220q seem to work, but no difference from the generic monitor driver.
