Pros

This is the fastest computer i have ever owned. Ssd is slightly slower than pcie (pretty much completely unnoticeable unless you're transferring 100gb files) i can stream movies via plex to my roku no problem.

The keyboard is illuminated (this may be disabled). The slots are plentiful, the full size keys are back-lit with a num pad. In a darkened room, i find myself hitting the shift key to turn the lights on. Big mouse pad, and backlit keyboard are plus.

The screen is 1080, full hd. It looks crisp, brightly colored and high quality. I also love the 1080 hd resolution it looked great while streaming the olympics.

Long battery life gets me thru 2 days of classes before i recharge. Wifi connection on my home network is solid, bluetooth has good range and easily paired to my wireless mouse and bluetooth headphone.

Light, thin, easy to carry. It seems acer laptops in my experience feel solid and not flimsy. If it lasts like my acer netbook naught but smiles on this purchase.

Cons

Camera looks pretty good/full hd screen (sort of)cons-the feel is very cheap, and nothing like a macbook as people compare this to. The battery did not last as long as advertised.

As a suggestion, i think libreoffice is a much better alternative if you're looking for free office productivity software.

It isn't as fast as the much more expensive i7's, but except for the most demanding work, it's absolutely fine.
