Pros

To connect the hub to the laptop, the hub uses an usb-c plug. The usb hub is small and sturdy so it will survive in my bag or backpack with no problem. I was consistently around the 8-9gbps on transfers, so only slightly shy of the advertised 10gbps.

It is solidly constructed, and all the ports operate as expected.

It's really short now and your computer will have to be really close to the hub and devices you want to use.

This type c hub does not offer a input power plug, only a output to say a fan or something.

3 stars = it provides some value, but perhaps not as advertised.

The adapter connected to my macbook promptly, and was detected after approving the device connection prompt in macos.

No usb-c monitor support though which was a bummer for me, and no power delivery - which i wasn't expecting.
