Pros
The metal casing is high quality and feels solid. The ports are nice and snug. A steal for the price, well worth it for quality of life improvements.
The acer hdmi adapter works perfectly with our apple ipad 10. With the addition of an hdmi cord this adapter easily connects my tablet to my projector. Got this for connecting my android to a projector and works like a charm.
I have a ton of accessories that use usb 3. However, there was one weird snag. It has an additional hdmi, usb, and c port.
It is a light pink metallic outside which makes it look a lot nicer than plastic. It is compact and not heavy, so you can carry it around in your backpack or purse.
Cons
Every other adaptor i've used has not has this problem. Fits well, but every now and again it will just randomly disconnect and go black. Wouldn't work with ipad pro (5th gen) connecting to hdmi.

Those would last 5 months or so and the connecting wire would start to twist and weaken and eventually fail.
But with the hdmi and charging both plugged in plus the unit itself i easily comes unplugged from the ipad.

Affordable and connects well with every device - computer, tvs etc.

This unit is priced right and the new one from apple is $70!
And at $30-50 per unit i was not happy but there was no other unit to put ipad or phone on my 52” sony tv.

They contacted me sent a new one and it works as it should!
I have received faulty item, but the seller took care of everything and i have received replacement very fast.
Competitiveness
This works perfectly for substantially less than apple's version.
Somehow the hdmi output was even better than advertised - i managed to use it at 4k60hz rather than the advertised 4k30hz!
Straight out of the box i could tell that the quality is better than the three i have purchased previously from different brands.
