Really soft like a nice tee shirt. That being said, it is lightweight and drapes nicely. Some of the stiffness will go away with a first washing.

Cons

From reading other reviews that referenced this item as a sweater, that's what i thought i was getting. Thin stretchy jersey fabric. Material on this item is not just thin but sheer.

The wrap around look messy. Washed once and seems to be falling apart. Cheap,cheap terrible fabric. All the seams show and it looks horrible.

Obviously, with the ann taylor, etc cardigans i compared them to before, you are paying for quality and they truly do last forever.

The only thing that i would suggest is be very careful when opening the sweater because they do fold it with the decals together.
