Aside from the color not being what i wanted the hat is wellmade comfortable and the only branding is an innocuous adams logo stamped on the strap in the back

The optimums main virtues are quality weight fabric with a comfy brokenin feel finished with an attractive prewashed patina that mellows the colors strong and infinitely adjustable real leather strap a nice touch leveraction antiqued metal buckle closure thats cushioned from the head is easy to adjust and wont slip or pop open matching metal grommet around the slot where the strap end tucks away no uncomfortable foam or plastic inside the interior headband which is just a double thickness of the same 100 cotton twill as the crown a medium size bill with the right precurvature that wont crack from bending or disintegrate in the washer and its signature hidden feature not found in other caps the lightweight colormatched soft nylon mesh lining the undersides of the crown panels which promotes cooling air circulationevaporation and also lends a subtle structural heft to what is an unstructured cap helping make the optimum more resistant to crushing and wrinkled appearance than any similar cap ive tried so it wont look floppy yet isnt too stiff or heavy the mesh also mitigates sweat staining of the exterior to a degree

Ive seen a few reviews here complaining that some of the colors dont correspond as expected to whats shown on the website

Id suggest visiting the manufacturers own website whispering pines sportswear aka wpsportswear model lp101 to get an alternate view of the color options but in general the actual colors of the several optimums ive gotten are less garish than they sometimes appear online and i havent gotten any where i didnt like the actual colors regardless of how they look in the photos
