Quality

Great little drive, fast compact and easy to install!

This drive also maintained good write performance with larger jobs (see my picture of the 32gb test).

2 slot on your board then do not forget the pcie adapter.

So far i've only had it operational for 2 weeks, so i can't attest one way or the other to long-term reliability.

Price

Great bargain for a 512gb nvme ssd.

Worth every penny saved over a samsung drive.

Good value, not as fast as 960 pro, but it's enough for daily work.

This thing is small, fast, and pretty inexpensive.

Packaging/appearance

Looks good with all black components surrounding it.

Competitiveness

Compare to other brands at $350+, i think the overall value of this pcie ssd is very good.

I got it on sale on another site for the same price that a samsung 850 evo 500gb typically goes for (which is a sata drive), an...  Read More

Intel has some good support that should get you the info you need basically the nvme driver arent rolled into sp1 so you need to modify the windows 7 install file

This is a tlc triple level cell ssd but its unreasonable to expect an mlc ssd at this price range

My osapplications drive is a samsung 960 evo 500gb

While the 960 evo is a much faster drive its also a lot more expensive

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

My tests in crystaldiskmark show the sx7000 getting 5070 of the performance that my 960 evo can achieve but the 960 evo was about 100usd more than what i paid for the sx7000 for the same capacity

And its worth noting these are benchmarks and the differences between these two drives wont actually be as noticeable in most realworld usage

Before i decided to buy this drive i scoured the net to find any information i could about the sx7000
