Cons
Read speeds are decent and predictable but writes are terrible. The software that the hard drive runs on is internal, meaning that it is on the external hard drive and not downloaded to run on my computer like older external i had.
This remains unreliable garbage. Will not be purchasing from their company again.
Usb accessory stops working after 6 months. Not worth the effort of trying to get a refund. It would be too much trouble trying to figure out how to permanently get rid of all my various personal account info before returning it.
Don’t be fooled by the 4. Warranty. Upon receipt, it looks like a good product, but the one i bought in april 2017 was a lemon.

It’s easy to use and the cost isn’t to high.

Shipping was fast and the packaging was secure.

Only had it up now for a few days, but it came to life immediately, the new synology 6600 router seems to work well with it.
This is my 3rd adata 4tb storage unit because they’re priced well and work well.
Went to synology website, and this drive was on their relatively short list of approved devices.

I bought one of these about 9 months ago and it finally died today after being dropped off my desk dozens of times always onto carpet getting launched once when my chair arm got tangled in the cord and has travelled across the country with me from ohio to texas

For frame of reference i use these exclusively for gaming and video files nothing of value aside from time installing the games back was lost when it broke
