The only negative is the short micro usb cable, which i threw away as i had a better quality spare.

Not as fast as i thought it would be, but does the job

At first i thought there had been a mistake as removing the drive from the packaging it just felt like a plastic shell.

Just a small remark it may be possible that the ssd will need formatting before the first use in this case this can only be done through the disk utility option of the macs recovery mode accessed by pressing commandr on startup
