Pros

It boots in a quarter of the time and runs a lot snappier now. Turns on quicker. The machine is really snappy now.

This works very well with linux mint 20. Since this was used as the system disk it start to get full really fast.

Cons

Don't buy this ssd. Then dumps the found. It's not listed under the warranty page on adata's website. Their warranty check page asks for an sn which is conveniently not on this model.

Product works, is very fast and was easy to install, even in my older computer!

I was amazed at the speeds it is capable of and it is still going strong after a year.

Everyone says adata is garbage and doesn't last but this is my 3rd one and i have never had a failure

Threw this in a proxmox edge machine as a boot drive, where most of the disk writes are onto a striped mechanical zfs pool.

I rebuilt an older laptop and replaced the 500 with this 480.

I suggest getting a hdd as an sshd is hard to find nowadays and expensive.
