Pockets have net on inside so not sure how sturdy they’ll hold up.

It is crucial to note, however, that adidas is a premium brand, and there may be less expensive choices available for people on a restricted budget. Washes well. Good thing amazon makes returns easy though.

Shorts run a little small, but they fit nicely considering that. My son is tall and thin (about 5'8 120 lbs) and adidas brand fits him great. Get more of the xl tall.
