Pros

The toe box width comes as you wear them. It's normally a tight squeeze. I like the shoe, but this is not a shoe to wear if you have problems with your feet.

With a bit of a spit shine, they still look good doing it! Blast from the past. The silhouette is awesome, the leather is excellent quality.

Surprising arch support for a flat looking sneaker. I have plantar fasciitis, and these are great shoes for me to keep pain free.

Cons

It's pungent to the point that people across the room would be able to smell it. This sole is black not brown as seen in pic.

Authenticity of this shoe is questionable. Qa process for these is completely shoddy. Is amazon where companies sell their irregulars and gently used shoes? No one who is serious about comfort or sport shoes wears vans.

Same awesome fit and quality as 36 years ago.

My 4th or 5th pair in 10 years and i know what to expect and am never disappointed

The ones i received have a fully black bottom/sole and not brown as shown in the product images.

My doctor gave me inserts to help with the pain, and said i needed a shoe that would support me while wearing them.
