Pros & Cons
Pros
They are lightweight, durable and very comfortable. New version has conventional laces which are slightly more trouble than the old quick laces but more reliable when tight. Only issue is that the size runs quite large. Good great quality, sturdy and l... Read More
New balance, rockport, etc. Continental rubber is good and looks great. The gortex makes them waterproof which was a big selling point for me. They still provide good traction, just not on the trails.
Cons
Big toes rub somewhat painfully on the inside edge of the shoe. Just wearing these around the house was unbearable rubbing on my toes. I need to really crank down on the laces to tighten it up.
For quality above pictured shoes are less than 3 months old. I guess i'll stick to merrell hiking shoes since they are actually wide, just wish the color color options were there too. They have decent traction but my old under armour walking shoes hav... Read More
Highlights
Quality
I wasn’t expecting this level of quality and am ecstatic at how solid they’ve been so far.
Great quality , sturdy and last a while.
Edited after weeks of wearing: this shoe is actually too firm out of the box - the soles are hard as a rock.
Usually companies take a perfectly good shoe and completely redesign it every few years, thereby ruining it.
Price
Awesome bargain almost half price, so i can afford better laces.
Got these when they were on sale for $60 roughly.
Overall satisfied with the purchase even though they were over $80 as compared to my previous costco purchase.
Everything else was as expected and price was unbelievably well discounted.
Shipping
I shipped internationally so exchange is kind of out of the question, but if i were in the us, i would definitely exchange for a 11 wide.
Competitiveness
I need shoes that can hold up and these have proven to be better than the columbia or merrell's i used to purchase.
Other brands of hiking shoes like merrell cost considerably more, so we'll see how these hold up.
However adidas does not have a standart sizing between their models.
