The tread is really great for rocky desert terrain. It has great tread to keep you from slipping in rocky, sandy or slippery terrain.

I have a bit of a clumsy side and these shoes have helped me out a lot. The outsole has an outstanding grip.

It hurts underneath where the outer sole comes up to a point at the base of the pinky toe. There were scuff marks at the toe and stains on the material at the back of the right shoe.
