The reason is the nubs

Still no nubs have come off and neither do they look like they will unless removed intentionally

Do keep them away from heat sources though the top of the radiator or fan heater for example because once i left them in front of a fan heater to dry the straps before i got out of shower and the straps got very soft and once they cooled they got slightly creased but thats all

Being quick drying slides this wouldve completed the purpose of the slides
