I received this for free a few days ago in return for a review.

Packaging/appearance

The only minor downsides are: (1) the fuzz is thin, when packing up it feels like i'm putting my violin on a hard surface.

Competitiveness

However, if you have an expensive violin i would suggest a different case -- some of the more expensive cases cost hundreds of dollars.
