I now use this with deep conditioner as a gray mask every 6 weeks to keep my hair looking nice and ashy. It is a gel hair dye so it's a bit different than normal dyes but it smells great, and works amazingly.

Just be aware that if you choose the same shade that i did it seems to lean more toward redviolet than it does copper
