My key doesn’t need to and with porsche entry i never need to really take it out of the pouch so i elected to not use the extension

I got this in the hopes that it would fit my cars extra key fob and keep it free from scratches while it sits in our key drawer and gets jostled around

I cant see myself using this daily however as it adds quite a bit of bulk to the key in my pocket

The liftgate open button on the key fob got inadvertently pressed by something in my wifes purse and also by something in my pants pocket

I tried to eliminate the use of the smaller ring with its attached cord to reduce the problem but the larger ring isnt flexible enough to attached to the porsche key fob

Its more likely that the smaller ring and cord could be eliminated for the previous generation porsche key fob

This key cover wouldnt be as important if the buttons on the porsche key fob werent of the hair trigger type and required a long press similar to how the fobs of some other makes of cars work
