For optimum growth, the lamp is timed for 15 hours daily. The led lights are bright and powerful. Lightning is extremely bright. Lamp can also be plugged to usb ports.
This is my third aerogarden and it is another great addition to my indoor garden. My only quibble is that the price of this unit is quite and it still essentially does the same thing as the less expensive units.
Good luck with your decision/purchase. The choice is yours! Thanks amazon. My only complaint at all is cost.
Cons
Germination of seeds is rare and requires much more upkeep to keep it going. This thing is not worth the hassle and expense.

Price
My only complaint at all is cost.
The only negative (-1 star) i can mention is the price.
While the up front cost was substantial, they eventually paid themselves off over many years of use.
Shipping
Wow, that is fast and impressive even for a hydroponics grower.
Packaging/appearance
The plastic holders can be removed from the biodegradable sponges used to hold the seeds.
There are other nice features:► when first setting up the system all that's needed is to follow the prompts shown on the screen.
Competitiveness
Definitely going to be buying another aerogarden!
The water compartment is bigger meaning you don't have to refill your aerogarden as often.
Tells you tips for your aerogarden by pressing the tips button.
If you have an older aerogarden that doesn’t connect to wi-fi, it is worth considering the upgrade.
