Pros

Aerogarden harvest seed pods are the best for fresh lettuce. It comes with six grow your own pods and a pack of black seeded simpson lettuce. Once the pods sprout they grow well and you just have to make sure you harvest often.

My only complaint is in trying to get the light to come on when i want it to, but that not a big deal. Resolved my issue and sent a coupon.

Cons

The timer doesn't work, the * occasionally lock up, and there seems to be a short or something where the power plug connects to the unit because sometimes it loses power/wont power on but turns on again randomly after messing with the plug a few times... Read More

Well, i sometimes buy things on sale, but really want them as a gift down the road for someone.

Shipping

We contacted aerogarden customer support after 30 days and they sent out a free replacement seed pod for the one that did not grow.

Packaging/appearance

Looks nice in my kitchen and right there when i need fresh herbs for recipes!

The unit was brand new in its original packaging, but the seed pods were definitely tampered with.
